Each GTP tour is rated for physical demands, comfort and culture shock so there is sure to be one that is right for you.   Some are designed with hikes to mountain top temples while others pamper you with luxury.   Any level of photography experience is ok too but you should bring a digital SLR camera that you are familiar with for best results.   The GTP tour leader will give you as much help as you need.
