Global Travel Photography (GTP) offers 3 types of tours to Asia, Africa and South America for people who enjoy both travel and photography:

Tour and Safari Combinations

 

GTP's specialized tours are designed for people like you who want to see, experience and photograph a world that is foreign to them.   You will travel to areas of amazing landscapes, interesting cultures, captivating people and facinating wildlife.   All of our tours utilize comfortable accomodations but some are more physically challenging than others so choose the style that fits you best. All of our tours incorporate photography workshops so you can improve your photography skills while on tour.

 

Tours are limited to a maximum of eight people in order to provide the best combination of travelling flexibility and photo opportunities for you.   With 8 people smaller vehicles can be used to go places that big busses can’t.   Small groups can approach people and wildlife that big groups can’t hope to see.   Small busses, vans and safari vehicles are used at each destination for local transportation giving us an opportunity to stop and take photographs along the way.   Sometimes, the transportation itself is a photo opportunity when local boats, trains and even rickshaws are used.

 

GTP tour accomodations are selected to provide you with the best combination of location, photographic appeal and comfort.   As a small group, smaller hotels and lodges that are strategically located near photography sites can be used.   Some of the properties are photogenic themselves.   Each tour is unique so they are rated for physical demands, comfort and culture shock. Refer to the ratings explanation for definitions of each rating level.

 

You'll learn how to take great pictures of your own AND become the star in some great pictures taken by others.   After the end of the trip, GTP will create a photo book with the best images, including images of you.   You will receive a copy of this book and an electronic copy of images that include you so you will have several great ways to remember the trip.
